About Me

I grew up in Portland, Oregon and am the youngest of five children. My wife Nancy & I moved to Boise, Idaho in 1996, along with our three children.

I started taking photos when I was nine years old, but I really took an interest when I bought my first digital camera. That was six years ago, and I am still at the amateur level. After getting lots of positive fedback from friends and family, I am feeling good enough about my work to it share with the world.

I like all kinds of photography, everything from landscape scenes to portraits. My favorite (the reason for my blog name) is to photograph something in everyday life- a piece of playground equipment, stairs leading down to railroad tracks & turning them into art.

My wife Nancy's blog is Little Homestead In Boise., and she has gotten me interested in creating my own blog. Thank you for taking time to read my blog!

  1. I love to know where bloggers are from and you're the first I've found from Boise.
PS the link to your wife's blog doesn't work...

    1. Thank you for visiting my blog. I clicked on your blog you have some great shots, I especially like the sea foam photos. I did start following you and look forward to seeing more.

You are the first blog I have found from New Zealand. Thank you for letting me know about Nancy's link, I have fixed it. There is at least one more Boise blog called Boise Daily Photo.

Thanks for dropping by, I'd love to hear from you!
