Boise and the surrounding are has a series of irrigation canals that are remnants of when the area was more agricultural. If you are lucky enough to live near one of these canals you are allowed to pump water out for watering your lawn for very cheep. Some of the newer subdivisions have pressurized systems hooked up to the sprinkler systems.

Most of these canals have a parallel access road, and a few of those are open to for people to use as running paths. The access road is the southern border of Garden City Idaho.

I was walking along this road, when I can across a mystery building. It is neatly tucked away under an overpass. Is is very secure with cameras alarms etc. There is a large pipe coming off of the west side that is pumping out a lot of smelly air. There are some large plastic chemical tanks scattered on the East side. I have tried to find out what it is, but have not had any luck.

Thank you for visiting Sunday Stairs.
