April Flowers

This little critter was having lunch.

Just a few of the early risers in my front yard.
The very morning this tulip was wide open.

  1. Wonderful shot. I love yellow flowers best of all and this bee seems to like them as well.

Thank you for your comments. The bee was just a lucky find. It was so preoccupied that I was able to photograph it for 5 minutes.

A while back, you asked about how I like my dedicated Macro lens. Now that I have flowers coming up I think it has become my favorite lens. I have always loved great macro shots even as a child. My old camera had a 14:42 and a macro setting that works well, but I have never been able to take shots like the one of the bee. My macron lens is rapidly becoming my favorite. When I bought the new camera I thought the telephoto would be my favorite, but it is not.
